After successful participation in past editions, Isabel Croxatto Galería returns for the fourth consecutive year to Contemporary Istanbul (CI), international art fair that will be held from 11 through 15 September 2019.
Located at the meeting point between Europe and Asia, the 14th edition of Contemporary Istanbul will take place at the Istanbul Convention and Exhibition Centre, bringing together leading international and Turkish contemporary art galleries, offering a platform for the city’s thriving art scene, growing art market and collector base. In 2018, CI gathered over 83 galleries from 22 countries, having over 80,000 visitors.
Isabel Croxatto Galería, located in Booth B 404, presents contemporary art from the south of the world, featuring a solo project by Los Angeles-based Chilean artist Víctor Castillo (Santiago, 1973), as well as a group show with artworks by Andrea Lería (Santiago/Barcelona, 1980), Carolina Muñoz (Santiago, 1985), Cecilia Avendaño (Santiago, 1980), Francisco Uzabeaga (Santiago, 1978), Ulises Mazzucca (Buenos Aires, 1997), and Argentinian duo Chiachio & Giannone, including pieces by Turkish artist Ali Elmaci (Sinop/Istanbul, 1976).
