Lovesong | Wladymir Bernechea
“Whenever I’m alone with you, you make me feel whole again… However far away, I will always love you” [“Cuando estoy solo junto a ti, me haces sentir completo otra vez… -

After Nature | Andrea Wolf
Virtual Exhibition 30 Septiembre - 20 Noviembre 2020Isabel Croxatto Galería is pleased to present After Nature by Andrea Wolf, inaugural exhibition of our new virtual gallery space, ICG+. After Nature presents a collection of 23 digitally manipulated botanical illustrations that explore our hypermediated relationship with nature, and how it has been heightened during the pandemic. Each species is affected by a custom-made pixel-sorting algorithm, resulting in mutations that create tensions in the aesthetic idea of nature as something that can be dominated, classified, and possessed. After Nature features the soundscape 'Estela', created specially for the exhibition by experimental Puerto Rican composer Angélica Negrón, as well as curatorial text by Chilean academic and poet Macarena Urzúa. -
