Fever Dreams brings together a new body of work that explores states of visual instability and perceptual tension, in which images, objects, and disparate references collide in meticulously constructed oneiric scenes. Drawing from the language of photography and digital processes, the works unfold as paintings that evoke simultaneity, fragmentation, and the blurred boundaries between the familiar and the unsettling.
These works reflect on the condition of a globalized, postmodern world, in which stimuli coexist with equal intensity regardless of origin. In doing so, they make visible the frictions between the local and the universal, the revered and the banal, within a visual territory where saturation and estrangement operate as engines of meaning.
