Our represented artist Paloma Castillo presents Embroidering the Everyday, her first solo exhibition in Hong Kong, hosted by Karin Weber Gallery in collaboration with Isabel Croxatto Galería.
Embroidering the Everyday features a selection of Paloma's signature stitched canvases, capturing the curious blend of personal and intimate yet provocative and pop essence of the artist's work.
The selected artworks present in the exhibition include small and medium-sized pieces from 2015 through 2021, including some previously unseen, that deal with topics such as politics and gender issues.
In addition to her solo show, Paloma will also be part of the fair Fine Art Asia with Karin Weber Gallery, presented at the Hong Kong Convention Centre from 5 through 8 October.
Embroidering the Everyday, solo exhibition by Paloma Castillo at Karin Weber Gallery can be visited at G/F 20 Aberdeen Street, Central, Hong Kong, from Tuesday to Saturday, 11 am to 7 pm, starting 30 September through 22 October 2022.
