Carolina Muñoz Wins the Prestigious 2023 CCU Art Fellowship

News | Santiago, Chile
Isabel Croxatto Galería is pleased and proud to announce that our artist Carolina Muñoz has been awarded the prestigious CCU Art Fellowship 2023, which will allow her to participate in a four-month residency at the International Studio & Curatorship Program (Brooklyn) and an exhibition at PROXYCO Gallery (Manhattan) in New York, as well as a solo exhibition at Sala de Arte CCU in Santiago in 2024.

A few days ago, Carolina left for Madrid to take part in the second version of the artistic residency production and exhibition programme La Embajada, developed by Isabel Croxatto Galería in collaboration with Galería Nueva and with the support of national collectors and philanthropists.

This is a new recognition of Carolina's artistic career, which she has developed methodically and consistently in the national and international art scene. Among her awards are the 2nd prize in the Premio Artespacio Joven (2017), the 2nd prize in the Premio MAVI Arte Joven (2018), the LazoCordillera Fellowship (2020), the 3rd prize in the CCU Art Fellowship (2021) and her current nomination for the Guasch Coranty International Painting Prize in Barcelona, to be decided soon.

Carolina Muñoz has been part of Isabel Croxatto Galería since 2018, where she presented the solo exhibitions Blanco Universal (2019) and Un Color Tiene Muchos Rostros (2021), as well as participating with the gallery in the fairs Art Central (Hong Kong), Contemporary Istanbul (Turkiye), Ch.ACO (Chile) and arteBA (Argentina).

Congratulations, Carolina!
