Jessica Briceño in Revista VD: The Artist Presents "Trampolín de Piedra" at Isabel Croxatto Galería

NEWS | Santiago, Chile
Isabel Croxatto Galería is pleased to highlight the recent feature published by Revista VD on Venezuelan artist Jessica Briceño Cisneros, based in Chile, on the occasion of her exhibition Trampolín de Piedra, on view at the gallery until this Saturday, the 6th.
The article underscores the core of Briceño’s practice: the relationship between architecture, nature, art, and identity, an intersection she approaches through material and symbolic research, with water playing a central role. For the artist, water functions simultaneously as presence and absence, a poetic space that evokes memory, belonging, and life, guiding much of her recent work.
In Trampolín de Piedra, Briceño presents a series of concrete sculptures at a 1:10 scale, pieces that operate as sculptural maquettes exploring tensions between the natural and the constructed—between solidity and fluidity, support and dissolution. The exhibition deepens the sensory dimension of the material, inviting viewers to reflect on the body and territory through new relationships of weight, balance, and fragility.
The feature in Revista VD highlights the growing interest in Briceño’s work and underscores the role of Isabel Croxatto Galería as a space that fosters contemporary research on landscape, memory, and forms of inhabiting.
The exhibition remains open to the public until this Saturday, offering the final days to visit Trampolín de Piedra.
