Our represented artist Carlos Gallardo will be part of the group exhibition Senderos Transversales [Crossing Paths], a tribute to Chilean artist Eduardo Vilches, at Galería Gabriela Mistral in Santiago from 12 November 2020 to 8 January 2021.
Eduardo Vilches (Concepción, Chile, 1932) has been one of the most outstanding and influential visual artists of recent times in our country, being awarded with the National Art Prize in 2019. The relevance of his legacy can be clearly seen in the work of several generations of national artists, many of which will be part of Senderos Transversales.
Part of Carlos Gallardo's groundbreaking piece Abatido from his series A la Carne de Chile will be shown in the exhibition, along with artworks by 31 other established Chilean artists.
Senderos Transversales can be visited on site prior appointment at galeriagm.cultura.gob.cl
