El Convulsionado Presente by Johans Peñaloza features a previously unseen part of Ensamblajes Territoriales, developed from 2020 to the present, along with new medium-format paintings in which the artist explores tensions between violence and power. "My paintings work with the idea of instability, both between the image that reproduces the impression of light, its context and diffusion, as well as in the perception of the real," the artist says.

Isabel Croxatto Galería, in collaboration with Galería Nueva, presents Ensamblajes Territoriales by the emerging Chilean artist Johans Peñaloza in Madrid. Through a series of 12 acrylics on canvas, Peñaloza examines the vestiges of urban landscapes decimated after the demonstrations resulting from the 18O social outburst.
