Pedro Albertini Chilean, b. 1998

Pedro Albertini is a visual artist with a degree in Visual Arts from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
Belonging to a generation born in democracy, Pedro Albertini's work deals with topics related to the environment, justice and social equity, unresolved issues that he explores through different intimate, graphic and sculptural strategies, new techniques and the use of non-traditional materials.
In his work, the artist collects memories, words, images and objects that take into account the spaces he inhabits, the slow dematerialisation of the present and the reduced and immutable evidence of periodic death.
In 2020 he worked as a studio assistant for the artist Iván Navarro in New York, where he also completed an internship in 2022, while in 2023 he was selected for the SOMA residency in Mexico City. He is the founder and director of CEDE, an exhibition space in Santiago dedicated exclusively to solo shows by emerging artists.
The artist has participated in group exhibitions at the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo, Museo de Artes Visuales, Galería Macchina and Galería Artespacio in Santiago. His work is included in private collections in Chile and the United States.
Pedro Albertini lives and works in Santiago, Chile.
