A Trip Along the Coast places the viewer inside a bus traveling along the coastline. A figure absorbed in their phone contrasts with the landscape and the faces appearing around them. Through layered scenes and spaces, the painting explores the distance between physical movement, the experience of one's surroundings, and individual attention.
