Ex Post gathers a series of 20 medium sized pieces created by the artist. Through the analogous and mechanical exercise of hand embroidery, and in the isolation resulting from the quarantine, the artist expresses her vision of the main events that have affected Chile in recent months: the social outlook following the 18 October social outburst of 2019, and the current COVID-19 pandemic.
The curatorial text of the exhibition has been written by José Salomón Gebhard, Doctor in Literature from the University of Chile. Meanwhile, Chilean composer and artist Sebastián Jatz has created the soundscape that accompanies the virtual tour of the exhibition. -
