Chilean artist Mara Faúndez, represented by Isabel Croxatto Galería, is featured on the cover of the July issue of Public Art (Issue 238), one of South Korea’s leading contemporary art magazines. The cover presents a detail of Una sensación (2025), a painting from the artist’s recent body of work.
In addition to appearing on the cover, the work is highlighted in the magazine’s Cover Story, which explores Faúndez’s visual language and a painting practice that approaches intimacy, memory, and everyday experience through a poetic sensibility. Her work transforms seemingly ordinary gestures and scenes into images charged with emotion, inviting a slower and more attentive way of looking.
This new feature in Public Art further reinforces Mara Faúndez’s growing international presence and reflects the continued interest in her work within the Asian contemporary art scene, following the magazine's previous feature on the artist earlier this year.
