"I use the camera to record certain events during gatherings of demonstrators in different parts of Santiago after the 2019 social outburst, images that preserve fleeting instants amid a context of tension. I photograph places decimated by human action, fragmentation and violence that flow into these anonymous bodies protesting in the territories. These photographs emotionally connect with the captured instant, which I reinterpret through painting."
