Paloma Castillo is part of the XII Valparaíso International Arts Biennale

Our represented artist Paloma Castillo is part of the Official Selection of the XII Valparaíso International Arts Biennale (BIAV) with her artwork Brisa Nuclear [Nuclear Breeze].
The Valparaíso International Arts Biennale returns after 30 years, with the support of the City Council of Valparaíso and the Valparaíso community, to highlight and restore one of Chile's most important cultural landmarks.
For its 12th edition, the BIAV has chosen the theme of "Territories and Critical Citizenship" and is curated by Ecuadorian curator Hernán Pacurucu, Ecuadorian artist and cultural manager Karen Pazán and local visual artist Paula López Droguett.
The piece Brisa Nuclear (2022, Hand embroidery with cotton threads and sequins on mixed fibres fabric, 105.5 x 62.5 cm) by Paloma Castillo will be exhibited at the Museo Municipal de Bellas Artes Palacio Baburizza.
