Isabel Croxatto Galería returns to Arte Sur at Art Toronto for the second consecutive year. Curated by Karen Huber, this dedicated section brings together 11 galleries from Mexico, Central America, and South America, creating a space for discovery and dialogue around the diverse perspectives shaping contemporary Latin American art.
The gallery’s participation in Arte Sur further reinforces its presence within the international art circuit and its commitment to bringing Chilean artists into new contexts. For this year’s edition of Art Toronto, Isabel Croxatto Galería presents the work of Carolina Muñoz, Joaquín Reyes, and Paloma Castillo, three artists whose distinct approaches and visual languages engage with different dimensions of contemporary experience.
As Karen Huber explains, “Arte Sur is not about presenting a single idea of what Latin American art should look like,” but rather about creating a sense of discovery by bringing together artists and galleries with different perspectives, territories, and histories, while sharing a commitment to developing their own visual languages and expanding the possibilities of Latin American art.
Isabel Croxatto Galería’s second consecutive participation in Arte Sur consolidates its continued presence at Art Toronto and further strengthens its commitment to the international circulation and visibility of new voices within Chile’s contemporary art scene.
