Our represented artist Cocó Caballero participates in the first edition of the online art fair Equinox, available at feriaequinox.com from 17 - 24 September.
Under the curatorial concept of "Alterities, Peripheries and Dissidence", Equinox features an inclusive view of Latin America, proposing the fair as a meeting and exchange space for Latin American galleries and artists who work with a critical approach to their social, political and cultural context.
Cocó Caballero will be part of the Singular section of the fair, presenting selected oil on canvas and wood artworks from her series Miedos and Terapias. The Argentinean gallerist and researcher Luis María Rojas, director of the platform Coleccionismo Contemporáneo, curated the Singular section, which includes 16 artists from Brazil, Chile, Uruguay, Colombia, Mexico, Argentina and Peru whose production "escapes from the normative".
As part of her participation in the fair, the Bolivian artist Mitzy Roda, curator of Coleccionismo Contemporáneo, will interview Cocó Caballero through Instagram Live on 22 September at 20h (Chile Summer Time) on @coleccionismo.contemporaneo.
